Preparation	Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from any previous finish. Remove any fungal growth, dirt or moss on old wood prior to application, and ensure a preservative has been applied. Sand the substrate with a medium 120 grade sanding paper or 120 grade sanding disk, removing all traces of dust.
Aplication	Apply in dry conditions. Always test on a small area prior to initial application. No primer required. Minimum 3 coats recommended. Fiddes Exterior High Build Wood Oil is formulated for application directly, and does not require thinning.
First Coat	Stir contents thoroughly before and during use. Apply using a good quality bristle or synthetic brush and apply EVENLY and THOROUGHLY, following the direction of the grain. Leave to dry 4-6 hours in warm, dry well ventilated conditions, or preferably overnight. Sand lightly with fine 320 grade sand paper.
Second Coat	Apply as first coat, evenly, allowing good ventilation. Leave to dry 4-6 hours in warm, dry conditions, or preferably overnight.
Third Coat	Apply as above. Clean applicators with White Spirit.
Re aplication	To renovate previous application of Fiddes Exterior High Build Wood Oil, lightly sand area with 150 grit sandpaper and re-apply
